  1. Demonstration room-Two demonstration rooms (60 Sq. mt.) fitted with OHP, LCD projector, and audiovisual aids with seating capacity of 80 students.
  2. Practical Laboratories
    1. Morbid Anatomy and Histopathology/Cytopathology (200 Sq.mt. area) with preparation room (14 sq.mt.area) with benches, fitted with shelves cupboards, sinks, water taps, light for microscopy and burners for 90 students to carry out exercises.
    2. clinical Pathology/Haematology (200 sq.mt.area) with preparation room (14 sq.mt.area) with benches, fitted with shelves cupboards, sinks, water taps, light for microscopy and burners for 90 students to carry out exercises.
  3. Service laboratories-
    1. Histopatholgy (30 Sq.mt.)
    2. Cytopathology (30 Sq.mt.),
    3. Haematology (30 Sq.mt.)
    4. HPLC room (30 Sq.mt.)
    5. PCR & Cytospin room (20 sq. mt.)
    6. Others room-
      1. Balance room (14 Sq. mt.),
      2. Store room (14 sq.mt.)
      3. High speed centrifuge (14 sq.mt.) and
      4. Wash room (14 sq.mt.) with continuous water supply.
  4. Museum-One museum (100 Sq.mt.) for specimens, charts, models with a sitting capacity of 50 students. In addition, there is an ante room.
  5. Autopsy Block- A separate building for autopsy (500 sq.mt. area) with facilities for cold storage, for cadavers, ante-rooms, washing facilities, with an accommodation capacity of 40 students, waiting hall and office.
  6. Departmental library- One Departmental library-cum-seminar room (30 sq.m. area) with 106 books.
  7. Research- one research laboratory (50 Sq.m. area) for research purposes.
Accommodation shall be provided for the staff as under, namely:

  1. Professor & Head of the Department -One (18 Sq.m.area);
  2. Associate Professor -four rooms (15 Sq.m.area each);
  3. Assistant. Professor -Three rooms (14 Sq.m.area each);
  4. Tutor/Demonstrators -Three room (15 Sq.m.area each)
  5. Department office cum Clerical room – one (12 Sq.m.area); and
  6. Non-teaching staff – One (12 sq.m. area)
BLOOD BANK.- Blood Bank (200 Sq. mt. Area) it include:

  1. Registration and Medical Examination Room
  2. Blood collection room.
  3. Room for Laboratory for Blood Group serology;
  4. Room for Laboratory for Transmissible diseases (TTI)
  5. Component separation room
  6. Blood Storage room
  7. Sterilization and washing room;
  8. Refreshment room; and
  9. Store and Records room.
  10. Doctor’s Duty Room.
